A Custom Lanyard is worn around the neck with an attachment for identification and security purposes. It's a great promotional item for its functionality for schools, tradeshows, hospitals, businesses, special events and seminars as well as for fraternal, religious and civic organizations. A Custom Lanyard is available in nylon which allows high detail silk screening imprinting; polyester, the most popular material for its durability, tube which is constructed from polyester in a tube form. This is generally narrow in width for those who prefer less material around the neck. A woven polyester lanyard allows for stitching logos and other detail directly into the material.
Attachments for a Custom Lanyard emphasizes its functionality. The styles of attachments are keyring, J-hook, oval and thumb hooks, lobster claw and bulldog clip with one additional attachment specifically for cell phones. The mechanism for these include a swivel movement. But, one attachment is constructed without the swivel movement.
