It wasn't that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Below, is a sample of some of the movies you can find using movie download sites.

The Italian: It was a brilliant heist that went of perfectly. The only thing left is to split up the loot. Steve pulls a double cross and attempts to kill all the others and take the money for himself. He gets away with the cash, but only kills the head of the operation John. Now the rest of the gang, and his daughter Stella, are out with a vengeance to get their money back, and deal with Steve.

Pulp Fiction: This is Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece work. The story weaves around four separate, yet intertwined event. There was an accidental killing, the crime bosses wife's overdose, the boxer who didn't throw the fight, and pair of small time crooks trying to rob a restaurant.

Deceived: Adrienne and Jack Saunders appear to be the perfect couple. Then a series of events turn things upside down. First there is a mysterious murder in the art business. Jack is an art dealer. Then a relic that Jack had purchases for the museum turns out to be a fake. Soon after that, Jack is killed in a car accident. As Adrienne deals with Jack's affairs, she soon start to realize that their whole life together was a lie, and that Jack might in fact still be alive.

The Vow: (2001) C-l24 Nevada detective, on the night of his retirement, finds that he is engaged in the case of a little gal's murder and vows to her parents that he can bring the murderer to due process. Another awesome Nicholson acting job anchors this fine-tuned film, which sidesteps recipe in favor of nuance. The Vow is based on the novel by Friedrich Durrenmatt. Cast includes Jack Nicholson, Robin Wright Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Vanessa Redgrave, Tom Noonan, Patricia ClllIkson, Michael O'Keefe, Aaron Eckhart, Costas Mandylor, Helen Mirren, Mickey Rourke, and Sam Shepard. (124 minutes, 2001)

Across llOth Street: Barry Shear handled the directing for this movie. Three black men, disguised as cops have robbed the mob bank out of over $250,000 dollars. Now the cops and the mob are in a race to catch the thieves, and recover the money. The stars include Anthony Quinn, Yaphet Kotto, Anthony Franciosa, Richard Ward, and Paul Benjannin. (1972 Crime-Drama)

The Cell: Catherine Dean has developed the controversial technique of synaptic transfer. She proves her skill by entering the mind of a coma patient. A serial killer is also in a coma, and the FBI needs information from this killer to find his latest victim, who is still alive, but will die soon if not located.

Defense of the Realm: Hard, compulsive reporter Byrne's investigative tale causes a British MP to concede-although there's more to the case than he knows. A tight, incredibly amusing partisan thriller that additionally feels speaking of which journalistic accountability and the commune's right to know what its government is up to. Cast includes David Drury, Gabriel Byrne, Greta Scacchi, Denholm Elliott, Ian Bannen, Bill Paterson, and Fulton Mackay. (96 minutes, 1985)
